In the United States, head to Cannon Beach, in the north Pacific, with its emblematic rocks. A real attraction. It is also a legendary place which has inspired numerous Hollywood films.

Legendary beaches are often flat and warm. This one is quite the opposite, cold and vertical, with its rocky spurs that emerge from the waters of the North Pacific. This is Cannon Beach, Oregon (UNITED STATES), one of the most spectacular settings on the West Coast. Here, no vacationer has chosen this place at random. “The atmosphere is unique. The force of the ocean in front, and the view of these rocks, it’s just fantastic”appreciates a tourist.

Trails in the footsteps of Goonies

Everyone is ready to brave 14°C water for the price of a childhood dream. The Goonies is a film from the 80s which has rocked generations of little Americans and French people too. The story of a group of friends, who set off in search of a fabulous treasure and an old pirate galleon, hidden somewhere in a cave on this wild coast. Oregon has organized a whole series of trails in the footsteps of this cult film. Under a radiant sunset, or in a mysterious fog, Oregon’s beaches live up to the legend of the American West Coast.
