Cannes Film Festival 2022: Eva Longoria and Katherine Langford, the divine L’Oréal Girls on the red carpet

There you go, Cannes 2022 is on! The opening ceremony, hosted by the sublime Virginie Efira, took place this Tuesday, May 17. We have already seen the stars parade on the red carpet, from Gérard Jugnot as a couple to ex-Miss France. We also had to rely on the L’Oréal Girls.

Spotted as soon as she arrived on the Croisette, Eva Longoria once again shone on the red carpet, she who has walked it since the mid-2000s. The American actress, L’Oréal muse for more than a decade now, took the poses in a long black dress embellished with sequins, low-cut and transparent. An outfit signed Alberta Ferretti. This partnership with the French cosmetics giant, Eva Longoria honors it perfectly. “It is an honor to be part of the L’Oréal Paris family and to be part of a campaign that says ‘you are worth it’. ‘I’m worth it’ is a philosophy that I really like and that I defend. So, I am very proud to represent these values“, she says on the brand’s website.

The actress was able to meet a young colleague, also enrolled by L’Oréal: Katherine Langford. The star of the series 13 Reasons Why posed in a shimmering silver dress from Prada. She also had the opportunity to speak about her association with the brand. “There is a real positive change in the way society perceives beauty and an evolution of the professionals who are behind the lens. It’s amazing to be part of a brand that supports women from all walks of life and champions their worth beyond their looks. Beauty can sometimes be intimidating, especially when you’re young and uncomfortable, but for me, make-up and fashion have always been a way of asserting myself. This is why I am proud to be able to embody the mission of L’Oréal Paris“, she says.

Note that, during the day, we were also able to see Aishwarya Rai, also L’Oréal muse, in front of the hotel Martinezwhich welcomes many stars during the fortnight.

This first day on the Croisette was intense and set the tone for the rest of the Festival. It’s the movie Cut! by Michel Hazanavicius who was screened in the opening and out of competition.
