The Cannes Film Festival wouldn’t be what it is without its stars, its actors, its filmmakers, its parties, its outfits, each one more magical than the next and… its accidental looks! Because climbing the steps in front of hundreds of eyes on the lookout for the slightest misstep is a difficult exercise that the guests do not always succeed. One of the victims of this 75th edition is none other than Lady Victoria Hervey, model and British socialite whose outfit worn for the climb of the steps of the film The Almond Trees literally dazzled the assembly.
It must be said that for this hot evening of Sunday, May 22, Lady Victoria Hervey was not adorned with the most covering outfit she had in her suitcases. The 46-year-old aristocrat wore a gold dress, the top of which left little room for suggestion. The back and stomach were almost bare. Only two hulls were supposed to hide his chest. Unfortunately, they did not do their job well. Lady Victoria therefore found herself with one breast almost in the air, enough in any case to see the guest’s nipple. Present since the start of the Festival, Lady Victoria Hervey also climbed the stairs to see the films Triangle of Sadness (Unfiltered) and Cut!.
This small accident, however, failed to steal the show from the stars of the evening. To present The Almond Trees, Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi managed to bring together colleagues, family and loved ones to experience this moment of pure emotion by her side. Carla Bruni, her sister, and their mother Marisa Tedeschi were present to support the filmmaker as was Louis Garrel, ex-companion of the director, whose film is in competition, taking one of the leading roles in the drama.
Louis Garrel is obviously not the only one whom Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi has chosen to trust for this beautiful project, officially expected in theaters on November 9th. For the needs of her film, the director called on the talent of Nadia Tereszkiewicz, Vassily Schneider, brother of Niels Schneider, Sofiane Bennacer, Micha Lescot and Suzanne Lindon, fruit of love between Sandrine Kiberlain and Vincent Lindon. Will the president of the jury succeed in taking some distance and not bringing affect into his decision? Case to follow!
