Ten years after the launch of the series Candice Renoir on France 2, viewers will have to say goodbye to him after a ultimate and tenth season expected during the year 2022. On December 9, the news was confirmed by the actors themselves, when they completed the very last filming. On Instagram, Cécile Bois had notably shared a series of very moving shots.
The latest adventures of Candice Renoir and his police team will be available in six 52-minute episodes, compared to 10 episodes in previous seasons. The first episode should take place shortly after the shooting which took place in the police station of Sète and broadcast on January 21, thus leaving a lot of suspense.
According to the first information relayed by Entertainment TV, all the regular actors should return to fiction for the big farewell, namely Cécile Bois, Raphaël Lenglet, Marie Vincent, Olivier Cabassut, Ali Marhyar, Yaleem Jappain, Christophe Ntakabanyura, Patrick Ligardes, Brune Renault, Clara Antoons or even QuentinMichael. On the other hand, it is difficult to know precisely when the channel will decide to put the new episodes on the air.
That the fans of the show are reassured, Candice Renoir isn’t quite done catching criminals. After season 10, the series will return in a new format and amidst new settings. Indeed, production will set up event TV movies for 2023. The first should take place in Corsica, the second in the mountains… For this one, Candice Renoir will cross paths withAlex Hugo (played by Samuel Le Bihan) for a highly anticipated crossover! Cécile Bois is therefore hopeful that the fiction will endure. “You have to know when to leave but, if we decided to continue, it is because the series does not run out of steam. It was complicated to leave my comrades and my character with all the love I have for them. I also need, as an actress, to keep a foothold professionally in comedy with Candice Renoirand to offer this capsule, light and of quality, to the public at a time when we all need it“, confided the actress for Entertainment TV.
