The couple have another busy day planned in the Northwest Territories, with stops meant to continue the trip focusing on climate change, literacy and Crown-Indigenous relations.

They will head to the Dettah community of the Yellowknife Dene First Nation in the morning, where Prince Charles is due to speak with First Nations leaders and hear about Indigenous solutions to climate change.

The Duchess will stop at a school to hear about programs to preserve Indigenous languages, and the Prince will be made an honorary Canadian Ranger.

The three-day tour began in Newfoundland and Labrador before the royal couple traveled to Ottawa, where they attended a religious service at a Ukrainian Orthodox cathedral and met a family displaced by the Russian invasion.

The royal visit will conclude with a celebration in honor of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in Yellowknife later Thursday.
