“Consular services remain available to Canadians in Ukraine and we are ready to deploy additional resources to meet demand,” Ms. Joly tweeted Thursday.

The minister’s attaché confirmed that a meeting had taken place in the morning with the Russian ambassador to Canada, during which she would have strongly condemned the violations of international laws by the government of Vladimir Putin.
