Henderson eagled on the first hole of overtime to beat American Lindsey Weaver-Wright and get her hands on an 11e career title on the LPGA Tour.
The 24-year-old Ontarian is also the winningest Canadian golfer in history. She won the prize pool of US$262,500.
Henderson went 64 (minus-7) in the third and final round of the tournament. She started the final round four strokes behind the virtual leader, Frida Kinhult.
Weaver-Wright got a birdie at 17e and 18e flag to force overtime. Both players finished with a combined minus-12.
Henderson, who had not won since the Los Angeles Open in 2021, took the lead with a birdie at 12e hole. She remained there alone until the 17e pennant.
England’s Jodi Eward Shadoff concluded her tournament with an eagle and finished alone in third place. The 34-year-old, who has yet to claim a victory on the circuit, found herself one stroke behind the leaders.
The fourth player in the world, New Zealand’s Lydia Ko, took the fourth position, sharing it with Switzerland’s Albane Valenzuela. They each gave cards of 67.
