Canadian Bankers Association | Anthony Ostler named President and CEO

(Toronto) The Canadian Bankers Association has named Anthony Ostler as President and CEO.

Mr. Ostler will take office on February 28, replacing Neil Parmenter, who resigned on December 23.

The banking industry lobby group said Ostler most recently worked as a global marketing stakeholder engagement manager at State Street in Boston.

Prior to working at State Street, Mr. Ostler held positions at Manulife, Canaccord and Royal Bank, according to his LinkedIn profile.

The Canadian Bankers Association says it represents 69 member institutions that together employ more than 280,000 people.

Along with its role in shaping public policy, the association promotes financial literacy and works to protect customers from financial crime.
