Canada’s GDP declines by 1.1% in third quarter

(Ottawa) Canadian gross domestic product (GDP) fell by an annualized 1.1% in the third quarter, largely due to a drop in exports of goods and services, authorities announced Friday.


“Refined petroleum products for fuels, down 25.4% in the third quarter […]were the main factor explaining the decrease,” Statistics Canada said in a press release.
