(Toronto) Canada Goose’s net loss rose to $74 million in the first quarter, despite rising revenue.
The Toronto-based luxury clothing company said the loss for the quarter ended June 30 compares with a net loss of $85 million a year earlier.
These results represent a net loss attributable to shareholders of 80 cents per share, compared to 78 cents per share for the same period last year.
The company’s revenue was 88.1 million, up from 84.8 million a year earlier.
During the first quarter, Canada Goose launched its first rain boot and recorded year-over-year growth in sales of apparel, windproof apparel and footwear.
