Canada and the Netherlands seize the ICJ over allegations of “torture” in Syria

Canada and the Netherlands have taken Damascus to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) over allegations of ‘torture’, the court announced on Monday, the first case before the UN’s highest court on Syria’s civil war. .
