Camille Lacourt and Alice detollenaere form a beautiful blended family. The former swimmer is the father of a young Jazz, 9 years old, born from his past loves with Miss France Valérie Bègue. And together, the couple welcomed their first child, little Marius, who has been making his parents happy for 5 months. From our colleagues in the magazine Gala, Camille Lacourt and Alice Detollenaere, who publishes Healed by your love (Leduc editions), book on breast cancer, pose and indulge in some confidences.
The cohabitation between Jazz and Marius is going wonderfully. The little girl “is a great big sister“, affirms Camille Lacourt.”She adores him, gives him the bottle, plays with him. She does everything … except change her diapers, we have to convince her!“, he continues, with humor. And Alice Detollenaere to emphasize:”What I love and that touches me is that they are not alike at all, Jazz is the portrait of his mum, Marius of his dad but we see the strong love that there is between them. When Jazz is there, Marius only has eyes for her!“
Other than the physical difference between the two children: Jazz is still preserved today, Marius is already posing. “Valérie Bègue, the mother of Jazz, and I are very different on this subject, even if we love each other very much, explains Alice Detollenaere. By writing about my breast cancer, to free and support all the women affected, we give of us but it makes sense. So show our son has them too.“And Camille Lacourt to confirm:”It doesn’t scare me to reveal some of our privacy. We tell of moments in life that everyone goes through. It’s not intrusive but a sharing of experiences so that makes sense. This is not misplaced voyeurism.“
Moreover, the face of little Marius already makes more than one crack! The very young boy may even already have a bright future … in modeling! “He is very comfortable taking pictures, he is cool and smiles all the time. I want to register her in an agency because I have a lot of model girlfriends who have done it and everything is going well. French law protects children. The money will be for him when he turns 18“, declares the young mother. An idea that appeals to Camille Lacourt:”There is no bad impact for a child. And if it can earn him a few pennies, so much the better!“However, the athlete is clear: no question of pushing Marius, or even Jazz, towards a path that does not correspond to them.”My children will do what they want“, he concludes.
