Guest of the show earlier this week, the 43-year-old Frenchwoman obviously talked about House Of Gucci, nominated for an Oscar in the Best Picture category. Camille interprets the role of Paola Granchi, the new companion of Maurizio Gucci (played by Adam Driver), after his divorce with Patrizia Reggiani (played by Lady Gaga).
Curious to know if Camille Cottin had been able to chat with Lady Gaga on the set, Camille replied: “I would have loved it but she was very focused, she was in character. I’m her rival, I’m stealing her husband, so she doesn’t really love me.“ Enemies in fiction, the two women actually shared a mutual admiration.
“But I must say that in real life, she is not at all like her character. She was very focused and all of a sudden, she came up to me between takes, and said, ‘You’re a beautiful woman and a great actress, and we’ll be friends at the end of the movie. Now hush!’“, continued the pretty brunette, fully dressed in Dior for this TV appearance.
