This is a law that the left hopes to repeal. Since September 2023, the pension reform has gradually raised the legal retirement age from 62 to 64 by 2030, at a rate of one additional quarter per year of birth. Thus, currently, people born in 1962 can retire from 62 years and six months. At the same time, the new rules have also accelerated the extension of the contribution period required to benefit from a full-rate pension.
