This is a law that the left hopes to repeal. Since September 2023, the pension reform has gradually raised the legal retirement age from 62 to 64 by 2030, at a rate of one additional quarter per year of birth. Thus, currently, people born in 1962 can retire from 62 years and six months. At the same time, the new rules have also accelerated the extension of the contribution period required to benefit from a full-rate pension.
Nearly a year after its entry into force, franceinfo is seeking to gather the testimony of those first affected by the effects of this reform. Because of these new rules, did you retire later than you had planned? Will you soon retire after having been forced to work an additional three or six months? Is this extension of your activity difficult for you? Or does it allow you, on the contrary, to prepare more calmly for the transition between working life and retirement? We are interested in your testimony.
Your answers will be consulted in the coming days by our journalists. The testimonies that caught our attention will give rise to direct contact. So don’t forget to leave us your contact details. They will of course remain confidential. If the form below does not display correctly in your application or on your browser, find it by clicking on this link.
