Nearly one in two French voters did not go to the polls on Sunday June 9, even though many political parties had hammered home the date of these European elections to try to convince them to vote. Despite a rebound in participation compared to 2019, abstention remained massive with 48% of the electoral population who did not vote. Will these abstainers go to vote, on June 30 and July 7, during the early legislative elections, called by Emmanuel Macron after the dissolution of the National Assembly, in reaction to the historic breakthrough of the far right?

Behind this phenomenon lie very different realities. Franceinfo would like to collect testimonies from voters who abstained on Sunday, in order to find out the reasons which led them not to vote. You can answer the questions in the form below to describe your situation and leave your contact details. Your responses will remain confidential. They will be consulted in the coming hours by our journalists and may give rise to direct contact.
