After the government’s time, it’s time for Parliament. On Wednesday April 10, the executive presented its end-of-life bill, which aims in particular to legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia under certain conditions. This text on assisted dying will now be examined in the National Assembly, beginning its journey before a special commission from April 22. More than 70 deputies will then carry out a series of hearings with specialists, all of whose names have not yet been revealed.

Will sick people be invited to speak to elected officials? While waiting to find out, franceinfo is launching a call for testimonies to allow patients who would like to do so to express their opinion on the government’s project and to be heard in this debate.

If you are concerned, whether you are in favor or against assisted dying, you can fill out the form below. You may be contacted by a journalist from franceinfo.fr for an article on our site. Your contribution may be anonymized at your request. Do not hesitate, also, to circulate this call for testimonies around you. Thank you in advance for your participation.
