California | A cow interrupts traffic on a highway

Traffic was halted Wednesday on a California highway as a cow walked on it.

Drivers joined the police in an attempt to capture the animal. Los Angeles-based CBS reports that a police officer on a motorcycle accompanied the cow a short distance until it wandered off to a local farm.

There, farmers – who arguably have more experience with cows than motorists and motorcycle police – managed to capture the animal.
