(Calgary) Calgary Flames goaltender Jacob Markstrom will be out with a broken finger.
The team said Markstrom, who left Monday’s practice after injuring his right hand, will not have to go under the knife. His state of health will be reassessed weekly.
Markstrom is 6-8-2 with a 2.94 goals-against average and .896 save percentage so far this season.
Flames backup goalie Dan Vladar is 4-2-1 with a 3.20 GAA and .883 save percentage.
Dustin Wolf has been recalled from the Flames’ American Hockey League farm club, the Calgary Wranglers.
He was 10-3-0 with a 2.50 GAA, .920 save percentage and two shutouts in 13 games in the American League this season.
