Louis Morissette, Patsy Gallant, Patrick Huard and the cast of “Chambres en ville” made surprise appearances on Sunday evening in the Bye Bye.

Director Simon-Olivier Fecteau and his gang left a lot of room this year for “cameos” to support the main core of actors, made up of Guylaine Tremblay, Sarah-Jeanne Labrosse, Pierre-Yves Roy Desmarais and Claude Legault.
The conductor of “Bye Bye” from 2008 to 2013, Louis Morissette, returned to the annual review on December 31, in the guise of Martin Matte for a – successful – pastiche of the talk show Morning Matte livetitled for the goods of the cause Martin Matte in distress.

Francis Reddy, Patricia Paquin, Anne Dorval, Gilbert Lachance, Gregory Charles and Vincent Graton returned to Louise DesChâtelets’ pension, 30 years later, in the revival of the soap opera Rooms in town. Arnaud Soly, Julien Corriveau and singer Patsy Gallant joined Pierre-Yves Roy Desmarais for a musical number on the REM, while Michel Barrette had the right to a more modern rewrite of his anthem Turkey timebringing together Coco Béliveau, Xavier Watso and Simon Boulerice.

There was also during this annual review, the impromptu visit of the twins from the Plan B agency – who are in fact only one man –, Dominic Paquet, Pierre Brassard, Catherine Chabot as Sophie Grégoire and Simon Olivier Fecteau as Justin Trudeau.
While one of the last pastiches of the evening featured Patrick Huard as Bernard Drainville, as well as Élise Guilbault, Rémy Girard, James Hyndman and Mario Pelchat.
