An entrepreneur and businessman from the Montreal region was shot dead in front of a residence in the Chomedey district of Laval on Thursday morning.
Around 7 a.m., a call was made to 911 for shots that had been heard on rue du Havre, on the banks of the Rivière des Prairies.
On the spot, the police found a 61-year-old man on the ground, seriously injured by bullets, reported the spokesperson for the Service de police de la ville de Laval, Érika Landry.
“The man is known to the police community,” she added.
