At least five people were killed in the accident of a passenger bus on Wednesday March 27 on a highway near Leipzig (Saxony), in eastern Germany, a spokeswoman for the German police. “The bus left the road and overturned”she said, reporting more than a dozen injuries among the bus passengers.
The accident happened around 9:45 a.m. local time. “The coach, which left Berlin for Zurich [Suisse], had on board 53 travelers and two drivers”the German company Flixbus, which operated the vehicle, told AFP. “The exact circumstances of the accident are not yet known”she added, assuring “cooperate with authorities and emergency services”.
