Yangon | Myanmar’s junta on Thursday sentenced former civilian government chief Aung San Suu Kyi to 3 years in prison for violating the Official Secrets Law, a source familiar with the matter told AFP.

The court also sentenced his former adviser, Australian economist Sean Turnell to the same sentence, according to the same source.
