A month after the pizza scandal Buitonithe court is investigating. MWednesday, April 13, a search took place in the factory of Caudry, in the north. This is where the pizzas suspected of being responsible for the contamination of several children were made.

Following the contamination of pizzas with E.coli bacteria, a Buitoni factory was raided on Wednesday April 13. What is the purpose of this search? “The gendarmes are there to take samples along the production chain of these Fraîch’up pizzas, but also on raw materials such as flour”explains journalist Marion David, in duplex from the factory of Caudry (North)Wednesday, April 13. The objective is to understand how the bacterium E.coli was able to grow in the plant.

“Another search also took place near Paris [mercredi 13 avril] at the headquarters of Nestlé, which owns Buitoni”adds the journalist. The searches follow the investigation which was opened by the Paris prosecutor’s office on March 22, after the factory was forced to close due to hygiene failures.For his part, Buitoni assures that he is cooperating closely with the authorities. The company recalls that these searches are a logical continuation of the investigation”ends Marion David.
