The Alpes-Maritimes firefighters are responding to a brush fire along the A8 motorway near Mandelieu.
The fire broke out on the side of the Italy direction towards Aix near the Barbossi estate.
The firefighters mobilize several water lances, machines are moving towards the scene. A water bomber helicopter from the department is to arrive on the scene.
Highway services and police are on site.
