A few days ago, on the set of TPMP, Lionel Tim, who is the show’s room driver, revealed that he knew Yanis Marshall and Bruno Vandelli well at the time when the first accused the second of having raped him. But this Wednesday, January 24, 2024, a mutual friend of Bruno Vandelli and Lionel Tim, cited by the latter during his interview, wanted to come and dismantle the approximations of the winner of Popstars, who, according to her, was wrong about the dates and about many of the things he said. Indeed, according to Pénélope, who is Bruno Vandelli’s former roommate and who still remains his friend today, Yanis Marshall was not 14 years old at the time of the facts he attributes to Bruno Vandelli, but 16 years old.
“I jumped in front of my TV when I heard that” Penelope said annoyed. And if Lionel Tim claims to have seen Yanis Marshall in Bruno Vandelli’s apartment in September 2005, Pénélope firmly denies: “You saw him in November, it was November 1989, he was 16 years old”she assures. The young woman explains that Bruno Vandelli assumes having had a sexual relationship with Yanis Marshall when he was 16, but that according to her it was completely consensual: “Bruno admits that they had a sexual relationship, but that there was no rape. It was consensual. And we must remember that he was 16 years old, the sexual majority, so if it is consent, it’s legal. And I would be very disappointed if I was wrong about Bruno but I am sure of myself, I saw them, and when I saw them, they were together, we went to very trendy restaurants together, their relationship was assumed, they showed off in front of everyone.”
Serious remarks that only involve her
At the end of the interview, Pénélope made serious accusations which were her sole responsibility, and by which she claimed that Yanis Marshall had been the victim of incestuous acts during his childhood, that he would keep silent to blame himself, for revenge, to Bruno Vandelli: “I had Bruno’s lawyer not long ago, and it seems that a lot of people in Paris know information that will be revealed tomorrow in the newspapers. It appears that Yanis was abused from the age of 9 to 13 by someone other than Bruno“ said the young woman. Before more clearly questioning Yanis Marshall’s silence regarding her alleged facts that she claims: “Surprisingly, why isn’t this coming out? Why didn’t he file a complaint about it because there’s a media frenzy around it”. In conclusion, the young woman affirmed that, for the moment, Yanis Marshall would not have filed any complaint against Bruno Vandelli.
