Alicia (a 28-year-old nurse) and Bruno (31-year-old civil engineer), 83% compatible, were back in Married at first sight 2022, Monday March 28, on M6. Now married, the two candidates took advantage of their evening with their loved ones. But it didn’t go as planned because, very anxious, Carine (the groom’s sister) brought out her possessive side. A situation on which his brother expressed himself in an Instagram story, the evening of the broadcast.
Carine was a great support for Bruno at the start of this adventure. If his parents were not ready for him to participate in the experience, the young woman pushed him from start to finish. But his behavior changed somewhat during the evening as viewers could see during the second episode. Very quickly, she explained to Alicia’s best friend that she was very possessive with her brother. And after learning that her new sister-in-law was bull like her, she didn’t hide her concern. Following her moving speech, she had a hard time hiding her emotions from Bruno and shared her fears with him. She then warned Alicia that she was very possessive. “He is super demanding, he is super boring. You don’t need someone docile. Bruno defends Carine
Following the broadcast, Bruno therefore wanted to seize his Instagram account to defend him and put things in context. “I know this second episode vis-à-vis my sister may be difficult for some to understand. Corn know that the ceremony and the evening went very well. No my sister didn’t cry all the time. Of course things have been said, too many emotions perhaps. I won’t hold it against her because she’s my sister, I know her“, he confided. And to add that he retained only the positive, namely his marriage and his extraordinary meeting with Alicia.
For her part, Carine justified herself to TVMagazine. First of all, she recalled that the context was particular and that between seeing it on television and living it, there was a world. She was trying not to think about the hype and had many questions about Alicia. “I started to panic“, she confessed. Knowing nothing of the beautiful nurse, she feared she was insincere. “We are with family and friends, many then ask me the question of my feelings. All these questions caused stress and anxiety deep inside me. These doubts that I didn’t have appeared. (…) And my reaction was excessive“, she continued.
Carine admits that she was clumsy and was disappointed with her seeing the pictures. “There are things I should never have said. Emotionally, I was in no condition at that time to calmly confide in Laura. She’s Alicia’s best friend and, inevitably, she was going to repeat to her the content of a conversation that could become problematic.“, she clarified. She also explained that her conversation with Laura was much longer and that she also said nice things about her brother. “I always got along very well with the people he dated. But there, the context was different“she concluded.
Then, at Entertainment TV, Carine defended herself from being intrusive. She is certainly fusional with Bruno but, as she explained, she lives 900 kilometers from his home. She is in the Paris region and he is on the Côte d’Azur. She therefore did not intend to interfere in her relationship and knew that Alicia would quickly understand.
