A new shock of simplification. Bruno Le Maire, the Minister of the Economy, has indicated that he wants the end of “all Cerfa”administrative forms, “by 2030.” “Today there are 1,800, including 1,200 for businesses alone”deplores the boss of Bercy in an interview with World published Wednesday March 6. “By 2026, 80% of Cerfa will be pre-filled by the administration, as for your tax return. Then we will delete them permanently”he specifies.
“Complexity has a dizzying cost in terms of jobs and hours worked. We must reduce the mental burden that weighs on entrepreneurs”argues the Minister of the Economy, who intends to simplify the commercial code. “No one can know all of the 7,000 articles of the commercial code, so everyone ignores the law!”he argues.
Bruno Le Maire proposes to bring together, with the Minister of Justice Eric Dupond-Moretti, “law and trade specialists to halve the size of this code by 2027”. And to warn: “My administration will use AI [intelligence artificielle] to adapt the information to the specificities of companies.”
