After a fourth night of urban violence, Bercy presented aid for traders. Damage to shops and looting of shops took place in several cities in France after the death of Nahel, killed during a police check on June 27. During a press conference on Saturday July 1, Bruno Le Maire asked insurers to extend the reporting deadlines, reduce deductibles and quickly compensate professionals who were victims of the riots. He also announced that traders “in trouble” could benefit from “deferral of payment of social security and tax charges”.

Report claims “as soon as possible”
