(Edmonton) Defensive end Bruno Lagacé has accepted a contract with the Elks, the Edmonton CFL team announced Thursday.
Drafted in the seventh round by Edmonton in May, Lagacé had another go-round with the Carabins, helping the University of Montreal win the 58e Vanier Cup last weekend.
The Boucherville native was part of the RSEQ defensive all-star team in 2023 and 2021.
In 35 games with the Carabins, Lagacé had 90 tackles and five interceptions.
He signed four tackles behind the line of scrimmage and recovered two fumbles.
The Elks finished the 2023 season with a 4-14 record.
