In Montreal, on Saturday, nearly a hundred seniors were able to enjoy Easter brunch, maple taffy or even have fun with the photo booth.
“It’s always very warm, any meeting, and especially at the Petits Frères house on rue Garnier,” added another elder.

For this three-day event, more than 3,000 volunteers will give their time to break the isolation that seniors sometimes experience.
“Easter is a family celebration, and for great friends who are alone, it is important to get together like when they were young by a party, the family, eating traditional Easter meals,” confided the one of the volunteers in the kitchen.

These volunteers are involved throughout the year with Les Petits Frères for friendship calls or even picnics.
