Moms love the little touches and toast is one of them! Bread, spinach, tome to wish them a happy birthday…

These toasts can be cooked in a sandwich maker. These toasts are perfect for a picnic, a starter, as an aperitif, etc.

Per person :

4 thin slices of bread

2 ladles of spinach, washed, stemmed and chopped

Salt and pepper

2 tbsp thin slices of tome cheese

Optional 2 p ground cumin or nutmeg

Drop the spinach into a white-hot saucepan and cook for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain them, even squeeze them so that they no longer contain any water. Lightly salt, pepper and add the cumin, mix. Divide the spinach in 2 and divide the 1st half over the 2 slices of bread. Divide the tome on each slice then cover the slices with the rest of the spinach. Place the slices of bread on top and then place it in a pan, applying a heavy lid on it to flatten them. Cook the first side for 4 to 5 minutes then turn over and cook the second sides identically.
