The Boston Bruins unveiled a new jersey on Tuesday.
Players will wear it next season to mark the 100th anniversary of the franchise founded in 1924. It is the third oldest franchise in the NHL, after the Montreal Canadiens (1909) and the Toronto Maple Leafs (1917) .

The letter “B” will no longer appear on the Bruins jersey in 2023-24. The new logo was ‘designed to unite the past and the future’ and ‘to celebrate the club’s 100th anniversary’, according to a press release issued by the team.
