Bruce Springsteen postpones all his concerts planned for 2023 to 2024 to “recover from an ulcer”

The American artist had already canceled his concerts in August and September. The next dates will be announced soon.

American singer Bruce Springsteen, immense rock star and stage beast, announced on Wednesday September 27 the postponement to 2024 of his concerts planned for this year in the United States, in order to “recover from an ulcer” gastric. The “Boss”, who has just celebrated his 74th birthday, will “continue treatment”according to a press release on the X platform (formerly Twitter). “All remaining concert dates in 2023 will be postponed to 2024.”

“Thank you to all my friends and fans for their well wishes, encouragement and support. I am feeling better and look forward to seeing you all next year”, writes Bruce Springsteen. The American artist had been on tour with his musicians, the “E Street Band”, since the beginning of the year but had to cancel his concerts in August and September, citing a “gastric ulcer”.

New concert dates in 2024 will be announced soon. For these concerts, the 2023 tickets will obviously be valid or refunded if necessary within 30 days, specifies the press release from the New Jersey singer to the impressive gallery of hits, including Born in the USA, Streets of Philadelphia Or Dancing in the Dark.
