Bruce Springsteen postpones all his 2023 shows

Four days after celebrating his 74the anniversary, the Boss announced on social networks, Wednesday noon, that he would have to postpone all the show dates on his E Street Band’s calendar until 2024 by the end of this calendar. Including its planned stop in Montreal on November 20.

On September 7, Springsteen had already canceled all his shows for the month, at the request of his doctors, who are trying to treat the peptic ulcer from which he suffers. The current North American tour of Bruce and his band was, however, scheduled to resume in November.

Bruce Springsteen, we learned today, will have to receive other treatments until the end of the year. Since his return from Europe in August, the Patron had presented seven concerts in the United States, the latest taking place on September 3 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford. The icon showed no signs of shortness of breath or pain during the performance of 28 songs in three hours.

Started on 1er February 2023, the E Street Band’s current spree is the legendary group’s first in six years. His last visit to the Bell Center dates back to March 2, 2008.

The new show dates will be announced next week and ticket holders will have 30 days to request a refund if they wish.

“Thank you to all my friends and fans for your kind words, encouragement and support,” wrote Bruce Springsteen. I’m on the mend and can’t wait to see you next year. »
