(Brossard) A car accident killed one Friday afternoon in Brossard, on the South Shore of Montreal, reported the Longueuil agglomeration police department (SPAL).
“It was shortly after 4 p.m. that the SPAL was called to intervene when an accident involving several vehicles was reported to us,” said François Boucher, spokesman for the SPAL.
The accident took place at the intersection of boulevard Lapinière and avenue Auteuil, which was still closed to traffic around 5 p.m. for an indefinite period.
One person was pronounced dead when first responders arrived.
Early Friday evening, investigators and reconstruction specialists headed to the scene of the accident to shed light on the circumstances of this event.
