The Annecy swimmer Yohann Ndoye Brouard, already crowned European champion last Saturday in the 200m backstroke, took the 100m backstroke bronze medal this Wednesday at the European Championships in Rome behind the Italian Thomas Ceccon and the Greek Apostolos Christou. Ceccon (52.21) and Christou (52.24) were too strong for Ndoye Brouard (52.92), who still offers France his 11th medal of these European Swimming Championships. The other Frenchman involved in the final, Mewen Tomac, took 8th and last place.
