This year, Le Roux refreshment bar and wine merchant is creating the Bromont Wine Festival, with Élyse Lambert, Master Sommelier, as spokesperson.
Held over two days, Saturday and Sunday, July 13 and 14, the event will bring together winemakers (Clos des cigales, Vignoble de la Bauge, Val Caudalies, Vignoble de l’Ardennais, etc.) and other local producers (Autour de la pomme cider house, West Shefford brewery, Ferme Cavendale, etc.) with agencies that represent vineyards from elsewhere, such as La Qv, Vinealis, Maître de chai, Les frères Spirit, Fluide and many others. It takes place between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Shellfish from the Huîtres de l’Estrie company will also be available for tasting. To eat, there will also be a small “street food” style menu prepared on a barbecue during the festival hours. The regular menu from the Le Roux establishment will be offered starting at 6 p.m. for those who would like to stay.
Admission to the event costs $5, but is free with the purchase of more than $40 in tasting coupons. These can be purchased directly on site. No reservation is necessary.
