A 26-year-old man lost his life on Saturday evening in a tragic snowboarding event, during the Nuit Blanche evening at the Bromont ski resort.
Around 7 p.m., the young man allegedly collided with a light pole on the edge of the track. Patrol officers were called to the scene and the victim was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The tragedy occurred on the Edmonton track at Versant des Cantons. This is a difficult trail.
“The causes of the accident have not yet been determined,” said Mr.me Dery. The Bromont Police Department will conduct an investigation to shed light on the circumstances surrounding the event.
The event occurred during the fifth Les Nuits Blanches evening of the season organized by the ski resort. During these events, the slopes are open until 1 a.m. A DJ, challenges and entertainment are planned on site.

The ski resort is open on Sunday, but the track where the accident occurred remains closed.
