Immerse yourself in four centuries of maritime history in Brière… From the transport of peat to the trade of the 19th century, via triangular voyages, follow the Briéron sailors around the world. Also discover the history of marine carpenters… From the 16th century rowboats built in the port of Rozé, to the very first ocean liners of the Scott shipyards, today STX shipyards! The Brivet ascent by barge, Wednesday, departure at 3:15 p.m. from Port de Méan in Saint-Nazaire. 1h30 by barge to reach the historic port of Rozé. Screening of the archive film “Brière et Briérons” (1946). Visit of the Montoir de Bretagne museum, return by coach and reservation required.
