Two members of the American Congress sent a letter to Britney Spears inviting her to come to Washington to tell her legal epic to obtain the cancellation of her guardianship. The singer posted the letter in question on Instagram on Wednesday.

“Congratulations to you and your attorney, Mathew Rosengart, on your historic victories,” write Charlie Crist and Eric Swalwell in this letter dated 1er December 2021.
The two Democratic representatives say that the ordeal the singer has gone through “will inspire and give courage to many people who are unjustly muzzled by the guardianship process”.
“Because of this letter, I felt heard and felt like I was important for the first time in my life,” Britney Spears wrote on Instagram.
“I want to help other vulnerable people, take life by the balls and be brave,” she continues. I wish I had been… I was so scared. There’s nothing worse than seeing your own family members do what they did to me. »
The singer ends by thanking the Congress for this invitation, without however revealing if she intends to go there to tell her story.
