Britney Spears dances with knives “to imitate Shakira”, the police arrive at her house

Britney Spears posted a video earlier this week on her Instagram account, followed by more than 42 million people, in which she is seen in underwear and a crop top dancing with long knives. An innocent clip which immediately panicked some fans, pushing the American singer to specify later in the caption: “I started playing with kitchen knives today!!! Don’t worry, these are NOT real!!! Halloween is coming soon!!!“

Obviously, this was not enough to reassure everyone. A person called the police because they were concerned about the well-being of 41-year-old Britney Spears. This is how the singer saw a police officer arrive on Wednesday September 27 at her Californian home, reports CNN. The latter was able to see that everything was fine and left.

On Friday, the singer again posted a video in which she dances with knives and addressed her fans. “I scared some people in my last post, but they are fake knives”she recalled, emphasizing that “There’s no need to worry or call the police.” Above all, she explained that she was trying to “to imitate one of my favorite artists: Shakira.” Before concluding by greeting “all the bad girls”who, like her, “are not afraid to go beyond limits and take risks!”

During the last MTV Video awards ceremony, on September 13, Colombian singer Shakira appeared on stage dancing with two knives.
