(Victoria) BC Premier John Horgan said a biopsy showed a growth in his throat to be cancerous.
In a statement, he says his prognosis is good and that he hopes to make a full recovery.
He begins radiation therapy within the next two weeks, which Horgan says will end in late December.
Horgan says he plans to participate virtually in briefings, cabinet meetings and other important gatherings like the Council of the Federation.
