The British army, victim of a cyber attack, points to China. The British army’s payroll service has just been hacked. Banking data, sometimes even soldiers’ addresses, were potentially looted. Rishi Sunak, the Prime Minister wants to be reassuring: “The Ministry of Defense has already taken action by taking the network offline”. The British services suspect China, which immediately reacted by affirming that these suspicions are absurd and unfounded.
Two days off for miscarriages
More than 1,000 bomb threats in Slovakia, Tuesday May 7. Hundreds of schools targeted throughout the country, but also banks. The police were overwhelmed by bomb threat emails at 5 a.m. Faced with the dismay of the population, Slovakia recalls that alerts of this type are considered terrorist acts and punishable by life imprisonment.
