In a heavy investigation published by the Sunday Times on September 20, 2023, four women accuse the British actor. Russell Brand, 48, of having sexually abused them. The facts, dated between 2006 and 2013, target behavior that the actor and star BBC presenter allegedly engaged in when he was at the height of his career, both in cinema and on television. This Friday, September 22, 2023, a sixth accuser came out of silence, claiming to have been the target of exhibitionism to which she had not consented in 2008, while she worked with Russell Brand at the BBC in the same premises: ‘‘I’m ashamed, but more than that, I wonder if something had been done, maybe there would have been fewer women he did horrible things to, like we’re reading in the papers now” she told British television. The complainant indicated that she had informed his direction of the incident in 2019, without filing a complaint. However, she criticizes the BBC for not having taken ‘‘no formal measures’‘ against their star host.
