There are love stories that you just can’t forget. This is the case of Brigitte Skiavi-Blanc. It was in 1993 that she met Gérard Blanc. At the time, the two soul mates were already in a relationship with respective companions and then decided to be good friends. But when their respective idylls end a few years later, for them it is like evidence. They then formalize their relationship in 1999 and Gérard Blanc marries Brigitte in 2007.
And since then, their love for each other has only grown. But now, only two years later, in 2009, the singer died of a cerebral hemorrhage. Guest on the show It starts today this Wednesday, February 1, 2023, Brigitte Skiavi-Blanc told how she lived her absence. “I am with him. Sometimes we think he’s crazy because I still talk to him, sometimes I even yell at him when I don’t like something” she tells Faustine Bollaert before continuing: “I yell at him a lot because we had promised to die together. I wanted to leave with him, because in addition he died in my arms”.

Already in 2019, Brigitte Skiavi-Blanc evoked the death of her husband with great emotion. For her, it is unthinkable to start a new life with another man. “I think I have no more room for anyone else. And [ma vie] is not over with Gerard. There is his presence. The first two years after his death, he was there all the time, I received signs: the music that turned on by itself, the light that went out…” she explained to the magazine Pure People. 14 years after the disappearance of the interpreter of “Another story”Brigitte Skiavi-Blanc continues to honor his memory.
