The First Lady, Brigitte Macron, summoned two women to the Paris judicial court who had spread false information on the internet that she was a trans woman, France Télévisions learned from a judicial source on Friday February 18, confirming information from M6. The two women, one medium and the other independent journalist, are summoned before the 17th chamber of the Paris court, for violation of image rights and privacy. A first hearing has been set for June 15.

In November, several Twitter accounts claimed with the hashtag #JeanMichelTrogneux, that the First Lady was actually a transgender woman. (a person whose gender assigned at birth does not match their felt gender identity) whose “deadname”the name given at birth – would be Jean-Michel.

These false messages also claimed that Brigitte Macron would not be the mother of her children. Their promoters, AFP recalls, recruited themselves from within a very heterogeneous movement rallying conspiracy theories, covid-skeptics or claiming to be part of the “French sovereignist” current.
