Since 2018, the actor has been accused by several women of having raped and/or sexually assaulted them. The actress, who has been rare in the cinema for years, gave an interview to Télé-Loisirs, in which she reveals the reasons which push her to defend the Depardieu clan at all costs, and gives not very reassuring news about the psychological state of the actorvery weakened by the affair which bears his name.
“I think we don’t have the right to shoot someone before they have been judged.. On the other hand, I did not witness what he allegedly did. I am for the respect of women, I think that they are right to want to be respected and I am one of the women who are respected” explained the 77-year-old actress, popularized at the age of six by the hit film Forbidden Games. But above all, Brigitte Fossey reveals that she spoke with Julie Depardieu a few days ago, and the news given to him by Gérard Depardieu’s daughter is not the most encouraging.
