You have to know how to choose your words when discussing the subject. Indeed, there is probably nothing more divisive than giving one’s opinion on a subject such as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. A conflict which has unfortunately grown since the Hamas attack against Israel on October 7, 2023. An attack which left hundreds dead, including 39 French people. Since then, Israel has decided to respond and attack the Gaza Strip. On the 29th day of the conflict, the number of victims continues to increase, particularly on the Palestinian side.
Indeed, the branch of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the territory affirmed this Saturday, November 4, that the number of deaths stood at 7,703, including 1,863 women and 3,195 children. These figures would be based on data compiled by hospitals as noted by our colleagues from Opinion
. Since the war between the two territories has started again, personalities have struggled to express themselves. They are easily tackled, whether they take a position or not.

Brigitte Bardot, saddened by the situation in the world
Yet, Brigitte Bardot
decided to break the ice and spare a thought for all the victims this Monday, November 6, 2023.
Laurent Ruquier also wished to salute his intervention
in his show 8 p.m. on BFMTV. “I just wanted to conclude with Brigitte Bardot, it will only take 15 seconds. Sometimes, Brigitte Bardot has sparked controversy because of her interventions. But this time, she chose her words accurately. It’s just two sentences, and “We hadn’t discussed the Israeli-Palestinian conflict yet today. And she posted a tweet”explained the journalist.
The latter relayed the comments made by the icon of the 1960s and 1970s: “I am horrified by what is happening to the courageous Israeli people and Palestinian civilians. It is an immense and painful mourning that is affecting the planet”, she observed. Words “perfectly chosen”according to Laurent Ruquier: “I think we couldn’t have expressed it better. It’s a terrible, but ideal, summary of the situation”. Perhaps well-chosen words, but which once again show the horrible period the world is going through, on both sides of the conflict.
