Brigaldara Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso 2019 | Balance and drinkability above all

The watchword at the Cesari family is elegance. While wines of the Amarone and Ripasso type are fleshy and powerful wines, at Brigaldara we seek above all balance and drinkability. And their wines are the best proof that the two can live together!

Ripasso wines are Valpolicella wines that are “passed” over the Amarone lees, thus giving the wine more richness, alcohol and structure. This one offers all the charm without falling into heaviness. A very pretty nose opens on cherry, with accents of almond, cherry stone, tobacco, cocoa. Dry, it is complex and tasty on the palate, with lots of freshness and moderate, fine, chocolatey, still firm tannins. To be enjoyed with braised red meats, game, duck breast with cherries, mushroom risotto.
